Sign Materials or Substrates

There are a wide variety of materials
available. Let one of our friendly

- Wood
MDO (Medium Density Overlaid
Plywood) is used for most
temporary or medium grade signs,
such as job site, real estate,
company, etc.
Sandblasted signs on redwood
are a high grade option that can
be given a classic or modern look.
Sandblasting can also be done on
high density foam for a more cost
effective sign.

- Plastic or PVC
Plastic is available in a variety of
thicknesses and sizes, and can
therefore be used for low or high
end pieces, such as identification
signs, street signs, dimensional
letters, ID badges, membership
cards. etc.

- Metal
Aluminum is the most commonly
used metal for signs. It has a long
life span and will not rust, and can
be used for things such as
highway, industrial, and residential
signs. Aluminum can be combined
with some foam products and
made into dimensional lettering
for interior use.

- Corrugated
This is a type of plastic that is
commonly used for political and
temporary signs. It is cost effective
and great for both interior and
exterior use.
